Well, I don't quite know what to say here. We booked this place and were taken to a totally different condo. The funny thing was we had booked so many different places over the 3 week trip that we didn't realize until the next day it wasn't the right place. We contacted Raymond then to ask what was up with the different place, and to date (3 days ago) haven't heard anything back from him about the error, where to leave the keys when we checked out, or anything, despite having regular correspondence with him before we complained about being in the wrong place (Maria's Casa with an outdoor kitchen). The condo we stayed at was quite pleasant, had a pool and everything, it was just very odd that there was no explanation for being in a totally different accommodation, and very disrespectful, in my opinion, that the error wasn't addressed at all.

This would have been much better had it not been for the construction next door. But there is so much construction everywhere in Tulum at this time it could have been the same anywhere. The road was unpaved and full of pot holes that even the cabbies didn't like. About 10_15 blocks from the center of town or 4 blocks walk to get acab. Having a bike really helped me get around.
