“Waste of money and time!”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 20 February 2012

We stayed at the hotel right beside the park and had a deal at $79 a person. Still a waste of money! The $79 just gets you in to walk around. Float down a river $50, swim with the dolphins $249, float in a tank with nerf sharks $50, and so on! I was told to look into Explorer guess it was a better deal a include things to do!

“A wet day - but still good fun”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 20 February 2012

It rained the whole time we were in the park but that didn't faze us. The underground river and the show at the end of the day were the definite highlights. I would recommend taking quite a bit of money with you to enable you to take advantage of the extra activities on offer. We didn't take much money with us and so were limited to what we could do.

“Over priced.”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 19 February 2012

100USD per person seems like a lot.
Not a big fan of zoos but we did see the turtles, crocs, rays, birds, big cats.
Did not swim there. Not a big fan of small rivers in underground situations. Beach area was very crowded,
The butterfly area was pretty interesting tho.
The evening show was Ok - probably 30 minutes too long.
We ate at the buffet over by the church - now that is some buffet.

Would not go back

“Underwater River”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 19 February 2012

Many things to see (natural), to do (swimming with dolphin, cross the underwater river for 35 minutes - easy for most of people)
We didn't like the night show but the park is wonderful, clean and you should walk all day long withouth seeing everything there. A must to see

“Xcaret buffet dinner”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 19 February 2012

Might have been just bad timing, but the food was just ok, as compared to the food we had been eating at our resort and in Playa. I'm sure it's not easy preparing that much food for all the people that were at the park. but, that being said there was alot to choose from though.
