we were with some friends for 5 days on the island of Cozumel and when we found MAGENTA, we made it "our place". With its cozy interiors and the beautiful garden we always find a moment of the day to step by: during the day for a coffe or at night for food, drinks and music!
We taste really good food, homemade pasta and pizza are amazing, definitly the best I tried in Mexico and really good in general (I am italian!). All the italian disches are really tasty and with a nice presentation. Also the other dishes that I tried (tacos and salmon tartare) were fantastic and everything is made with love! At the end you have to try the Tiramisu!
I also love to drink and Magenta prepere special cocktails with artesanal spirits. this is something hard to find somewhere else in Cozumel! Alex help us to discover the different spirits and explained with entusiasm how they prepere their cocktails. My favorite: Ritual! but Magenta is also really good of course!
Last info: Michela, the italian owner helped us to descover Cozumel with precios advices about where and when to go and was really helpful!
Thank you Magenta!

Margenta is an incredible lovely place!
My friends and I went out for dinner to Magenta twice. We ordered the whole menu forth and back. It consists of extremely creative compositions with a lot of italian influence and some mexican stuff, with a twist. Some of my friends are vegan/vegetarian. The menu had enough options for them, which is usually pretty hard to find in Mexico.
It's save to say that all food is super fresh. Also the Tiramisu for desert is highly recommended.
You can spend the whole evening in the beautiful garden and enjoy all the tasty and versatile cocktail creations, served by a lovely colorful service crew.
We met the owner Michela, who runs this place with a lot attention to detail. She's an extremely charming character and inspiring italian power women. She gave us tons of tips for activities all over the island.

Wow, from the gracious introduction from Mica the owner, I was hooked,...! From the Mixologist who made a very special drink, to the best seafood tostada I've ever had to the roasted sesame fresh tuna. Felt like I was their only customer. Many recipes from Mica's mother but chiefs presentation 5 star. The profits go to cultural programs they support,...,

Really enjoy this venue, although only went a couple of times during our stay.
They had a Sunday night Quintin Tarantino movie marathon, and a great Swing/Rockabilly band on other nights.
It seems to be a bit more alternative, so if you are looking for something different, then i can recommend checking out this venue.
The prices for drinks are reasonable, and on our last stay we had some fantastic pizza.
Very good night out.
