We remembered this location from other visits to Cozumel when we really enjoyed the food and ambience of this roof-top restaurant. It has changed ownership and has gone way down hill.
The evening we went to this restaurant there was only one other couple in the restaurant -- perhaps that should have been a warning to us. The covered terrace area was closed and we were seated overlooking the OXO store -- not very nice ambience.
The waiters were attentive and the service was excellent, but that couldn't make up for a disappointing feeling about the place.
Our appetizer (calamari) was overcooked. Our main course was okay but we thought the meal was way overpriced for the experience.
With so many other choices on the island we would NOT recommend this restaurant unfortunately. If they want to charge high prices, then they need to make some changes and improvements so that the experience and the food are worth the prices they are charging.

As mentioned... service is excellent - Edwardo the owner met us at the door and sat us personally - gave us the story of he and his wife and the home made food however, the pasta is homemade as well and therefore requires better care when cooking so as not to overcook.... it was pretty mushy and there is way too much tarragon (any amount is too much) in the sauce. the Crab stuffed shrimp was excellent, the caprese salad and the Caesar salad were both good but the mains had something to be desired.

Good on you folks but the sauce and pasta need improving.

One of my favorite restaurants on the island. I eat here every time i'm in town and have never had anything less than a great meal/experience. I've been told and have seen the desserts are amazing!!!! The meals are so delicious and large I have yet to find room for dessert ( eventually) 8) My wife loves the lobster specials and I love the steak> The owner (Ed) can usually be found out front greeting guests or upstairs in the restaurant. Also he is very helpful in suggesting dishes depending on your likes ie. seafood, steak, chicken..The chefs are great an more than willing to go the extra mile to make your dish perfecto!! Enjoy!!

Our meal was very well prepared and the service was excellent. This is in the old location of the first La Preza. Not sure on that spelling. We had a fettuccine dish with shrimp and it was very flavorful. The bread was also tasty and each of us had a salad. Reasonable on pricing.

The restaurant is on the open second floor of a building just a block or two from the waterfront and from the plaza. It's very pleasant to sit there and watch the city go by and the lights come on in the evening. We had excellent pasta and seafood and the accompanying vegetables were fresh and nicely prepared. The service was attentive and friendly.
