This restaurant was not easy to find. Taxi took us to two other Argentinian Parilla before they found the right one. Very low key, off the beaten path, family atmosphere with soccer jerseys hanging on the wall. Sergio ( the proprietor ) is a warm, genuine, english speaking man who is happy to accomodate your party. The food is excellente. We had the Parillada for 4 which consisted of : Rib eye , New York , Fillet (1200gr) awesome! Empanadas were very great also. Flan de dulce de leche was nice finish. Prices are reasonable ( probably because most of the patrons live nearby).

Sergio and Alejandra run an excellent shop, helped to make a friendly atmosphere by loyal and long-standing waiters. They have built this place up from a mere sidewalk café; they now have air conditioning and more space however it remains on the small side. There is good reason for deserving success: they have the best meat in town, better or on the par with any of the fancier restaurants. Go on Friday (best to make a reservation, it can get pretty crowded) and try the all-you-can-eat barbecued best Argentinean cuts (bife de choirizo, vacio, asado de tira, etc) accompanied by their own invention: Bariloche salad i.e. fresh baby spinach with roasted cherry tomatoes and sprinkled with parmesan cheese. They take very good care of you and Sergio brings you the meat just as you ask for it. For 250 pesos, that is a great deal. If you are not that hungry, try their excellent, thin crust pizzas-- they are definitely amongst the 3 best pizza makers that I know in Cancun. Sergio prides himself in his selection of wine but don't expect it to be French-- go with a good Malbec or another austral wine.
