We returned yesterday from a wonderful 2 week visit. We have been visiting Cancun for 25 plus year and in Royal Solaris, we have found a second home. After visiting for a week and knowing we would like to take advantage of future trips and perks that come with joining the Solaris family, we met with David Martinez for a presentation and was expecting the normal high pressure pitch. David was very personable and answered all of our questions and really the presentation spoke for itself. David's personal service and help during our stay was incredible. He is not just a representative, but now a friend. Highly recommend you speak to him after staying and enjoying the resort.
Now, on to the stay. The service here is impeccable. From the housekeeping staff, wait staff, entertainment staff, and bellhop staff you will not find better service. Eduardo and Giovvani at the pool bar, Cecilia and Kalimba at the Member's lounge, Javier who is everywhere, you won't find better staff or better people. The specialty restaurants are some of the best you will find in an all-inclusive. We have been looking for our go to in Cancun and have found our second home, Royal Solaris.
Could things be improved? Yes. Changed policy to remove premium alcohol for members from Solaris Pool Bar and only found at Grand Caribe Pool Bar next door. We provided this feedback and hope policy will change. The buffets could use some change in menu during your stay but that is normal for almost all Cancun all inclusives. Highly recommend Royal Solaris. It will exceed most if not all of your expectations.
