All Inclusive food and service was unsatifactory

Seafood buffet was not cold. Very few protien food options. Service was poor, slow and unfriendly. Trash around pool was not picked up for days. Location was nice and rooms were good.

The service and food was terrible. Breakfast lunch and dinner was the same food. Service some of the m staff was rude. Nothing for the kids to do past 5pm. Only positive side was the snack bar and pools. Wouldn’t say it’s really family oriented.

Room tip: Don’t just go off of the good reviews because they can be misleading.

I appreciated how attentive all the workers are. From the drinks we ordered (thank you Maura Beatriz) to the entertainment crew (Alberto and his helpers) to the leader of the restaurants (Alberto? Jose Alfredo Jimenez?) they were all outstanding! Everyone worked very hard to please us and make our stay as wonderful as possible. I have a gluten issue and the staff always asks when you arrive for your reservation “what allergies do you have?” I always got what I needed. We loved the Spanish restaurant for breakfast. All of the restaurants are high quality thanks to the diligence of the man in charge of the restaurants. (So sorry i forgot his name) I would recommend the royal solaris for couples or families.

Room tip: The local 7/11 was within 5min walking distance for medicine etc. And by taking the bus $1 ea way Walmart was 1/2hr out.

I went to Royal Solaris Cancun right after hurricane Beryl had passed there and left behind visible damages. The beach got strikingly narrower with lots of red seaweed. I was so disappointed since I had planned to jog on the beach early each morning. My room was on 7th floor. It was nice and clean and furnished with an HDTV with cable, a mini fridge, and a set of iron and iron board. I enjoyed my breakfasts at the La Fuentes restaurant. As for lunches and dinners, I'd have to make reservations on daily basis if I wanted to eat at fancy restaurants like Marco Polo, Veneto or Bogavante. On my second night, I went to Marco Polo restaurant for my dinner. After being seated, I immediately felt the heat circulating the room. I asked the waiter if the A/C was on. He said," No A/C!". It was so hot and stuffy that when the waiter brought my main dish out, I was already soaked with sweat. I had to swallow it down as fast as I could in order to get out of the restaurant. I skipped my dessert. My next dinner was at Bogavante restaurant. Food was OK except the soup was too salty. Veneto restaurant, however, was the best. I did enjoy my dinner there. Seven days went by so quickly. And because I was not a member of the club, I had to pay for my trip back to the Cancun airport. I booked my returning trip with the Hotel Travel Agency on the first day of my stay. The trip cost me 14 dollars which was fine to me. I was informed to wait at the front lobby at 8am. At 8am, there was no car for me. At 8:15am, I asked the bell boy for help. He called the Travel agency. An agent came out asking for my trip voucher. Then he called someone on his phone and told me the driver was late because of the airport traffic (??). Thankfully, my flight wouldn't leave until 12pm and I was able to leave the hotel at 8:40am. I arrived at the airport around 9am. Of course there was no traffic!
Staff was nice and professional. 9/10
My room was nice and clean. 9/10
Food was above average. 7/10
So, in summary, did I enjoy my stay at Royal Solaris Cancun? Yes, I did.

It seems that the quality of food for lunch outside the pool is ok. Also the time you have to wait for the food is a bit too long. The drinks and food are better at GR Solaris.

I am here to give the STAFF a 5 star, especially Cecilia the bartender at the Premier bar, she is a mixologist with a lot of talent and a super sweet person, she makes you feel welcome and makes amazing drinks, she is just great! Also want to give a 5 star to Eduardo the entertainer, that guy was everywhere from the pool to the night shows, always with a smile in his face after working all day in the sun, very nice guy.
