I am here to give the STAFF a 5 star, especially Cecilia the bartender at the Premier bar, she is a mixologist with a lot of talent and a super sweet person, she makes you feel welcome and makes amazing drinks, she is just great! Also want to give a 5 star to Eduardo the entertainer, that guy was everywhere from the pool to the night shows, always with a smile in his face after working all day in the sun, very nice guy.

As Solaris timeshare members, we return for our annual family trip each summer. This year, just like every year, we have left with bittersweet feelings. Happy to return to our homes with amazing new memories, but so sad to leave paradise. The staff at Solaris was phenomenal as always. They definitely make our trips that much more enjoyable! We must highlight one of our favorite servers, Axel Fuentes. He treated us like royalty! Thank you, Solaris!

We love Solaris for our family vacations. It’s very kid friendly and makes you feel at home. Most recently, we would like to thank Fredy from reception for making our daughter’s bday memorable. He coordinated with the catering department to make a small cake for us to sing happy birthday to her. She loved it. Thank you Fredy and the Solaris team.

The entertainment staff is amazing. They always go above and beyond to include every guest. Eder, Matias, Danna, Maggi, Lalo, Maxin, and Mike do an amazing job of entertaining everyone and making them feel at home. Everytime we come back the staff remebers us and I always enjoy participating in activities at the pool!
We only stayed 4 nights in this property from July 23 - 27 as we spent most of our vacation time in Isla Mujeres. I have read in so many mixed reviews on how bad food are at All Inclusive hotels in Cancun but this hotel, though our first-time all-inclusive visit in Cancun exceed our expectations. The buffet food was great even though they only open at 6.30am for breakfast. We have a day excursion on July 24 and our pick-up time was at 7am so we had to eat fast. I prefer it opening around 6am so those with excursions can eat properly. the following breakfast experience was great and have omelets just about every day. We also packed some donuts as a snack to the pool as the Snack Pool Bar doesn’t open until 12pm and the Pool Bar does not open until 11am. We are usually at the pool side around 8.30am. We never went to the beach as they have been all red flag and the waves were strong.
Pool Bar was great and had many drinks selection. People gather at the swim up bar by 11am as everyone is already thirsty. Lol. Some drinks are strong in alcohol, some were not. My favorites was the tropical storm and Mango Margaritas. Pool Bar Butlers goes around so often too and asks if you want a refill very often. Bring lots of $1 bills for tipping.
Pool Snack Bar opens at 12pm and they have a decent selection of food. No complains here as these are bar food. Rosmarinus is open for Breakfast (members only) and during lunch (no reservation required but you need to put on dry clothes or at least cover up your swim wear and dry up) and serve buffet style too. They are open for dinner too but need casual attire I believe.
Next is their Pool Entertainment. This is what stands out the most for us and the reason why we are going back. Maxin, Dana, Eduardo, Matias and another 2 guys (sorry I forgot their names) have the best pool activities set up for you. They are so entertaining and approachable.
For dinner, we dined at Rosmarimus, Marco Polo, Bogavante and Veneto. Husband’s favorite was Veneto although he loved the tomato soup at Marco Polo. They are all equally great for me.
Tips for future travelers:
• Bring your own Salt Grinder as this is not a typically available in your table. Had to ask multiple times for it in Bogavante. They also do not have the little packets.
• Bring insulated tumblers (barternder will fill your cup upon request) and rubber straws.
• Bring lots of $1, $5, $10 for tipping. I’m aware that tips are already included in your rates and tipping is a personal choice. We usually tip $5 for housekeeping, breakfast and lunch and $10 on dinners, Airport transfers and Excursion trip drivers and the $1-$3s for the bell boys, Pool Butlers, Bartenders and some random hotel cleaners.
We cannot wait to go back next year.
