We were upgraded to a beautiful villa which was on the beach. All of the staff are so attentive and kind. The food was always delicious and there were many options. I enjoyed the different pools, especially the pool with the swim up bar. Definitely coming back!

Make sure you get a tour before you start your vacation. Learning Spanish really helps communicate with the staff. When you book the aqua-world tours make sure you get the contact information for the person who books your tickets, you might need to ask for a refund if you don't get to your tours. Everything is close or a bus away so it was very convenient location. They have gift shops inside the hotel which was also super nice. Pools are super clean and the buffet is delicious. WOULD absolutely GO BACK THERE AGAIN :))

Occidental Tucancun was everything I hoped for and more. The atmosphere of the hotel was absolutely stunning, and the staff were all very friendly and hospitable. The only issue I really had was that the entertainment at night wasn’t the best. I would still definitely come back to this place!! It truly was a week in paradise.

Did a great job in our room it was very clean and spotless.The first night we had roses all over our bed it was beautiful. Every day Tere would make something different to put on our bed elephant, bear with a flower pot with flowers in it. all done with towels it was amazing honestly.
