The staff who run the bars in this resort are very welcoming and give excellent service. The rooms are spacious, clean and the app means that you can easily order room service or request additional items / cleaning as you require it. The fridge is well stocked with drinks that are refreshed each day. The snack bar is staffed by lovely people who make an effort to remember your name and your order. The back pool is beautiful and overlooks the beach. Overall, I would recommend this resort for families, not couples. The quality / variety of the food needs work. The staff need to enforce not saving cabanas with towels, as they are often left empty for large parts of the day and then you're asked to tip, like we did after we stared at an empty cabana for 5 hours after no one turned up. My main points of criticism are the fact that the spa was closed indefinitely (we weren't told this before check in), the gym was an additional fee (and was also closed indefinitely while we were there), and that your first morning at the hotel is commandeered by a staff member seeking to have breakfast with you / offer you gifts in order to pressure-sell you timeshare options. You shouldn't be taking up vital holiday moments with something no one has asked for. These are all points that should be easy to fix!
