My daughter and I stayed for a week in February. Everything was amazing. Good food (better than Iberostar Quetzel we had stayed at previously), nice pool, close to beach, lots of activities, clean room. We ate at all 4 specialty restaurants. Japanese was the best. The others were ok. Not as good as specialties at other hotels. Fruit was also available and plentiful in the buffet restaurant which we loved. My daughter is a vegetarian and could always find something to eat. We went to 3 nightly shows - all were very good, esp the circus one. What we really like about Iberostar are the activities. Special shout out to 2 people - David, who seemed to be around 24/7 (does he every get a break?) He knew our names within 2 days and invited us to take part in many activities. He played beach volleyball everyday, had a great attitude, very friendly, very easy going. He was amazing. Also Claudia - we went to yoga every morning, did the water aerobics, zumba and even TRX/circuit training with her. What a workout! She is very fit, personable, and welcoming. All the activity staff work so hard - they are always around the pool, talking to people, running endless activities, taking part in night events, being so hospitable.
