It is a wonderful place with incredible staff that make you feel at home and have great suggestions about what to visit.
The room we stayed in had 2 balconies, was big, comfortable and with spacious bathrooms.
For a few dollars you can order homemade breakfast (mole tamale or huevos a la mexicanca) in addition to the complimentary chocolate milk and fresh fruit dish.
Only issue is that it can be noisy at night but if you had a great time in town you will be tired and sleep well.

Once again we visited Hotel Siete Balcones in Oaxaca with friends. We have stayed here several times over the past years and have found it to excellent in its services and location. The staff is sincerely happy to see you and meet your every needs. it is a small hotel that has been perfect every time we visit. WONDERFUL ! We will return often. No need to look elsewhere.

Room Tip: all rooms are different, but all have a "Balcon"

We were a bit unnerved having had to delay our arrival in Oaxaca because of bad weather on our originally scheduled travel date but we calmed down pretty quickly once we arrived thanks to the ambience of Oaxaca, the Casa de Siete Balcones and the wonderful staff. We are really grateful to Janet and Julia and the manager for all that they did to make our stay at the hotel so enjoyable. There really isn’t much to add to the previous positive reviews of this charming hotel, the caring staff and the ideal location. We had only been to Oaxaca once before, decades ago, and we were delighted that although the city had grown a lot since we were there, it had retained its charm.

Room Tip: We stayed in Suspiro, which is above the entrance. Large & comfortable. Only issue is too little storage room for clothes for a long stay.

We stayed here two nights in February; a central location to explore the city. The hotel is charming, with sweet little touches in the rooms, meant to make you feel welcomed and nurtured. There is a small air conditioner and a ceiling fan, and Spanish colonial furnishings throughout. The staff were welcoming and helpful with tourist recommendations and suggestions, even printing out a personal guide for our stay. We were served a continental breakfast each morning, but also had a small coffee maker in the room, just in case we wanted coffee before breakfast. The hotel room was spotless.
The location is right next to the pedestrian street, and close to lots of attractions. My only complaint was the traffic noise generated from the street at the hotel's entrance, a major thoroughfare. However, I found I could close the wooden shutters on the windows, and turn on the air conditioner to drown out the noise. I would highly recommend the hotel for those on a budget, and women traveling alone (or together).

Room Tip: If available, I would choose a room away from Morelos street

It was my 6th time in Oaxaca and this has been the best hotel we have had so far.

There are others that are really good but do not have the combination that this hotel has:
- Great price-quality: beautifull, big and very clean rooms forna very reasonable price
- Very central location with Balcones on the great streets of Oaxaca. It can be a bit noisy in the evening, but nothing that earplugs cant fix

- a nice courtyard to relax

- Big beds and very good showers for Mexico

- Continental breakfast included and good prices on the mexican breakfast that is really yummie.

- Free Valet parking

And the most beautifull thing about the hotel: The Staff!!! Waw, what a perfect service!

I will definitely stay here again.
