We were two couples that left the cold north to visit Oaxaca during the holidays.
We had a very pleasant stay. We had a bungalow and standard room. As our plane was arriving late at night we used their airport pick up, thanks Jorge, to ease check in at that late hour. It is only a bit more than other means. The B&B is maintained well and the courtyard and pool were welcome places to enjoy down time. Our bungalow had a simple kitchenette with stove top and fridge and some basic kitchen tools. I recommend if you are staying for several days, for the fridge/freezer alone.....speaking of which, turn right out the front door and go 4 blocks and you arrive at the farmer's market. Turn left outside the front door and you will be in Centro in less than 10 minutes. You will pass all kinds of art shops, restaurants, bars, etc. on the way.
Breakfast is standard B&B fare; cereal, yogurt, toast, fruit and eggs cooked to order. The coffee, though a bit weaker than I like it, is available 24/7.
Quirks......Beds are quite firm and took several days to get used to and hot water becomes warm during the morning rush, so lather up early or late, though the hotel was full.
I would not hesitate to return or recommend and we left with hugs form the staff.More
