Casa de los Milagros was our home away from home, except in Chicago I do not wake up to the lovely and delicious breakfast prepared by Juanita and served by Eloy. Both helped us arrange our side trips and did all they could to make our stay an unforgettable experience.

Room tip: Ask for room on ground floor.

Our stay at Casa de Los Milagros was everything we hoped it would be and more. The beautiful and historic house helps make you feel at home in the city. There are attractions just a couple blocks walk in any direction that you choose, delicious restaurants, and tons of shopping and sightseeing. We would make excursions out each day, then come back and rest with a drink on the rooftop terrace. It was perfect.

Breakfast is a performance in itself, with a beautiful spread of authentic Oaxaca cuisine and fresh produce from the market. And the staff was wonderfully welcoming, and gave us some great tips on where to seek out more delicious foods in the Mercado, and what top sites to see.

We loved our time in Oaxaca and hope to return one day soon!

This place is just lovely. Not really fancy but comforting and attractive. Very clean. The service at breakfast was wonderful. Each morning they greet you with yummy food and a lovely presentation. They are accommodating and help answer questions and give suggestions for places to go.

Where do I even begin? We were lucky enough to stay at Los Milagros for a week in Oaxaca. Each morning's breakfast (cooked by Juanita or Rufi) was a delicious way to start the day off and it was so nice to come home to a clean, comfortable and quiet room. The house staff was so helpful too, from booking our tours the day off to helping us figure out where to go and what to do. We loved our rooms at Los Milagros and would 100% stay there again the next time we return to Oaxaca.

Room tip: Cielo room was the best!

My wife and I spent 8 nights at Los Milagros and couldn't have enjoyed it more. The common spaces are large, airy, and nicely decorated. Beautiful entrance way and dark wood, curving staircase, sunny courtyard, large high-ceiling kitchen and dining area, spacious terrace overlooking the city. Our room was comfortable and very pleasant. Juanita and Violeta couldn't have been nicer or more helpful and each breakfast was truly something to look forward to. It's a short, pleasant walk to just about any place you'd want to go in the Centro Historico, and the city as a whole is a delight. We also took a great ride to Sierra Norte with Solomon, whom Violeta introduced us to. Solomon is a native Oaxacan with excellent English and great knowledge of the area, and lovely company. Highly recommended. All in all, one of our favorite, most pleasant vacations ever, and we're certain to go back.
