“Delightful house in central Oaxaca”
Reviewed 23 May 2018 for a stay in May 2018

My husband and I stayed in this two-bedroom, two bathroom house for six nights. It's a short walk to restaurants and city life yet remains quiet and serene. We felt very safe and even had the (screened) windows open at night. The property manager was very friendly and helpful.

“A fabulous place to stay in Oaxaca!”
Reviewed 6 May 2018 for a stay in April 2018

We had a wonderful time! We absolutely loved Casa Palomita. We had so much fun relaxing in the garden and drawing pictures of the terracotta statues of the ladies, the fountain, the plants. Lu, the house manager, the was very helpful and gracious. The house was very comfortable and well-appointed. There was plenty of room to spread out and relax. Casa PaIomita is a special place in beautiful city filled with culture and history. I imagine I will be back to visit again!

“Beautiful Mexican home with easy walk to the center of Oaxaca.”
Reviewed 1 May 2018 for a stay in April 2018

La Casa Palamicito is a lovely mix of Mexican color and craft, and comfort and ease. Tucked back in a cul de sac, it is quiet and peaceful. A short walk and you are in the midst of Oaxacan activity, restaurants, crafts. The Zocolo and Santo Domingo are easy walks.
I completely loved my stay at La Casa. I can hardly wait to return!

Casa Palomita is a lovely place to stay! It is close to the zocolo, the town center, we walked there every day. I enjoyed the layout of the home, the decor and the bookshelf! I would stay there again. Special thank you to Lu, who took care of all our needs!

“Our annual stay was wonderful once again”
Reviewed 17 April 2018 for a stay in January 2018

We spent our eighth stay at Casa Palomita this winter. Oaxaca is a wonderful place to spend vacation time, and Casa Palomita is a wonderful home. All the basics are great: comfortable mattresses on the beds, high quality bedding, strong hot showers. The kitchen in particular is large and very well-equipped. Maria has added some wonderful new ceramic sculptures to the patio this year--four figures from a sculptor i Ocotlan which represent the four seasons, along with two little animals which we thought were pigs, but Lu the "super" tells us are supposed to be polar bears!!:) Also to note this year, the popular and great French bakery Pan Boulenc has moved across the street, but also opened a restaurant which is the new most popular place for breakfast/lunch, in a wonderful patio setting with music sometimes.
