We stayed 3 nights at this hotel. We had 2 adults and 2 children in room 11. The environment was tranquil and beautiful. We loved that the rooms were quiet and the only noise was from people talking in the courtyard. Everything was clean and organized. The beds were comfortable but we wished that our kids could sleep separately. It would have been nice to have the option of an additional twin bed or sofa for one of the kids. My kids do not get along when in the same bed. The air conditioning was easy to use. There was a window behind the wooden slats that you could leave open for fresh air, but it was very private.

The bathroom had good lighting. I liked the walk in shower, but the water didn't drain that well, and you had to be careful to contain the water so you didn't slip. The water was hot and pressure was good. Towels were thick and white. The provided Toiletries seemed like nice quality. They provided big glass bottles of purified water for brushing teeth or drinking. I do think there could be some more extra places to hang up towels/clothes or toiletry bags, especially for 3-4 people. The bathroom could use an extra couple hooks or towel bars. The hair dryer was petite & hot and did a good job drying.

The breakfast was delightful. There was fresh orange juice and green juice (?), fruit sliced up, cereal, milk, yogurt and good coffee. For hot food, there were enchiladas, made to order quesadillas with squash blossoms and cheese or memelitas, chorizo and eggs or plain scrambled eggs, pancakes and little toppings for your foods.

The staff was pleasant and helpful when we needed to have transportation to the airport. The upstairs rooftop terrace was a surprise and delightful as you could relax and enjoy the sunshine and listen to the sounds of Oaxaca. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

We love staying at this beautiful boutique hotel. Designed in collaboration with several mexican artists, the hotel is full of perfect little spots. The service is great and the staff is always willing to help. Breakfast is simply delicious, beds are super comfortable and the location is great.

We stayed in Oaxaca at the hotel Azul. The ambiance and the rooms are modern and very well kept. The service at the front desk was friendly and helpful. We arrived at 9 am at the hotel and they had a room for us immediately. We booked two standard rooms and ended up with two suites.
The breakfast was good and the service ok.
We would definitely go back to this hotel.

This is our second stay at Hotel Azul. It's a small, quiet, efficiently run boutique hotel in a great location. The staff is helpful & went above and beyond when we realized we'd left a passport in our room after flying to our next destination. They Fed X'd it to us right away. We'll stay here again.

The hotel is an art piece on its own! Such a beautiful concept with amazing design and a fantastic serene atmosphere. Every corner seems to be carefully curated and the service is amazing, making you feel right at home! If you are into visual arts and design the hotel has an incredible gallery as well, which was one of our favorites in all Oaxaca.
The location is great, it made our stay in Oaxaca so pleasant.

This boutique hotel is the perfect combination of simplicity and excellence!

Will be back for sure!
