You may forget about any transport difficulty, when you use this Turibus. In the worst case problems won't trap you, bur the Turibus… And they'll do everything in their hands to solve them for you.

We booked a group tour which included our specific destination, Frits Kahlo’s museum. The confirmation listed pick up times and locations, even though we specified the offered hotel pickup. We couldn’t be in touch with the tour operator because Spanish was the only option. With help from our hotel we located the nearest pickup location and actually walked it the night before the scheduled tour for timing. We arrived early the morning of the tour and enjoyed the local race, bicycle race, walk, etc but never saw a Turibus. The company did refund our payment but without any explanation as to why we wasted a few hours waiting. We subsequently hired a private tour and had a wonderful experience!

Unless you have nothing to do skip the Coyoacan circuit. The stops are so far away from each other so you loose time stuck in traffic, about a 40-60 min wait for the next bus, not enough at the stop to keep you occupied for an hr, there are more than 10 stops so no way you could stop at each in a day, and they’re not as relevant. Some stops are for shopping centers and their industrial area ‍♀️

We were told each circuit would be roughly 1 hour so we embarked on the city one to change to the coyoatan circuit, and then have lunch. The change included 1 hours wait. The staff had no idea  when next bus would arrive. After 3 hours on the Coyoatan bus we were in Coyoatan so we left for late lunch. After that the 3rd bus back to change to city circuit. All in all we spent 6,5 hours, excluding exchange waiting time, on a 2 hour trip.

Selling person lied about length

No one had any idea on when next bus would arrive

WiFi did not work

No water on the bus

The Coyoatan tour spends a lot of time back and forth.

I would NEVER recommend this to anyone.

Not bad but should be much better. Very slow (because of the constant heavy traffic), not all stops are marked (this added a half hour to our journey as we couldn’t find our hop on position), they don’t always stop at the designated hop on/off position (this resulted in us missing our departure stop and requiring us to walk back a considerable distance to our hotel), the location descriptions (over the head phones) are few.
