I wasn't so very impressed with this tour bus. I was a little disappointed from the beginning that it was long than 20 mins wait from the start. Most buses I've been on before will stop a short amount of time then continue. It's also disappointing that if you purchase a ticket online you have to take it to one of three points. These buses have many stops across the 4 circuits and could save travelers a lot of time by accepting these tickets on the bus. Not as expensive as some hop on hop off tours, but I'd try something different next time.

Granted the traffic is not the greatest in Mexico City but for the price you have to pay is like you own shared UBER ride on a city bus. Some walking may be needed but just follow the map and you can transfer to different lines to visit other parts of the cities historical sites. Again price is decent to me and I’m not sure what they could do better to get better. The bus has WiFi and they are friendly. Maybe serve beer. It’s a thought

The hop-on hop-off buses are decent, but traffic is so bad that even if you never get off except to change circuits, you'll never see as much as you expect. It's a fine way to get a feel for the city, but not a great way to get around.

The tour is good, we visited new places and learned more about the history.
Although the connections are a nightmare. We had to wait in the middle of nowhere and more than an hour to take another bus!
They told us that we could take any bus until 9pm. When we tried to take a bus at 7:30 they said that the last time we could take a bus was at 6pm.
We ended up taking an Uber and finishing our tour.

I think this is a must first thing to do if you're new to ANY area. They have several routes around the city and they have a narrator who explains many key points along each route. If you take a turibus first, then you'll get an idea of what you want to return to see individually on your own. Beware if you think it will rain (which it does almost every day between May and Sept) to prepare to go below (the buses have a rooftop seating area for the best views). If you're on the rooftop area and it's sunny... you'll need a hat and sunscreen at a vary minimum. ALSO, on some routes like Condesa, sometimes you pass by a low hanging branch. It CAN hit you so pay attention.
