We lived in Brazil for many years and love fine dining. The experience at Baby Beef Rubaiyat in Mexico City is highly recomendable since the chef/cooks have managed to bring to Mexico the same quality as the restaurant in Sao Paulo. They made an extra effort to please us and guide us throughout their menu and cure our "saudade". The pão de queijo has nothing to ask to the one you find in a good bakery in Rio de Janeiro. Caipirinhas are well prepared (ask for the traditional/lime which is the best one) and their meat is really very well prepared/cooked. We accepted a menu special (carpaccio of shitake) which really did not let us down.
The only possible minus for some customers: The restaurant has had problems getting hold of Brazilian beer. Other than that,a place to come back well worth the prize.
