We came here on our first night in Mexico City for a romantic dinner and we were generally satisfied with our experience.
The restaurant looks amazing and has an elegant feel to it with lots of smaller dining rooms within. We were seated on the second floor overlooking the street in a smaller room with 3-4 tables in it. The service was professional but given we didn't speak much Spanish maybe not as personal or friendly as it could've been if we were fluent. In terms of drinks, we ended up ordering a glass of wine and a mocktail, but generally speaking we found the wine list to be quite expensive relative to the food and the rest of the city.
The food itself was great, with the pastas comparable to top restaurants that we have had in New York/LA/San Fran. The appetizers were less memorable, but the bread (and breadsticks) were outstanding (and FREE). If you are on a budget you can definitely get away with ordering fewer appetizers/entrees and eating more of the delicious bread.
Overall, a great spot to check out if you aren't feeling like Mexican food and want a more romantic atmosphere.
