Easily the trendiest area in CDMX.
Littered with cool, inviting & trendy bars.
Could spend hours walking around Parque México and the neighbourhood during the day.
La condesa df hotel has a cool roof top bar too.

We had an AirBNB in this neighborhood and it was a fantastic location. The neighborhood felt very safe and there were always people out walking around. So many dogs in the neighborhood too! Tons of fantastic restaurants, coffee shops and tea shops. Very centrally located to get to Roma and Centro. Ubers were super cheap and easier to navigate than the metro system.

On both trips to Mexico City this year, we stayed in this area. There are many great restaurants closeby and there was no crime to be noticed. It is about a 1 hour walk to the Zocalo, but the walk is very nice y super padre!

One has to understand that Condesa is a city zone (very big) not just a couple of square blocks.
In the recent years this part of Mexico City has become full of restaurants, bars, attractions, etc.
Some of them are close by and you can stroll in front of them and decide what to eat, but normally they are not so close.
If you plan to walk around for a while here, it is best to decide on a specific part depending of what you want to see or eat
