Description: Les Moustaches is an award-winning fine dining restaurant. The magnificent French food and exclusive wine list are the elements that have made Les Moustaches a well-known and prestigious restaurant. It is located in a renovated house from the last century, in the financial district, two blocks from Angel de la Independencia. The elegant French decorations and piano & violin music help to create a great dining atmosphere.

“Outstanding service with a beautiful setting...”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 15 April 2012

The service in the restaurant is next to none. On arrival we were made very welcome by the polite waiting staff. The setting is beautiful in an old colonial style building with live music from a violinist and pianist.

PROS:
Huge wine list
Variety of aperitifs, liqueurs and beers
Amazing service, very attentive
Great atmosphere & setting
Well presented food & nice sorbet given at end of first course to cleanse palette
Very tasty french onion soup

CONS:
Very expensive wine list
Although caesar salad was made fresh at the table (very nice to watch), it could have been tastier
Beef wellington was nicely presented but a bit lacking in flavour and came out medium well instead of medium rare

Still really enjoyed our evening and would recommend the restaurant, particularly for a special occasion.

“Best French in Town”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 29 March 2012

Very elegant, excellent food, beautiful place. The owner is always there. One of the best-trained personnel you will find. Near the American Embassy and Reforma Avenue. Of course it is expensive, but it is worth. Would go again any time.

“Good but not worth it”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 8 March 2012

Better spend your money elsewhere, the food was really flat and had tons of olive oil, both surpassing the whole dish taste, I tried the dishes of my two friends and none was excellent either, so I suggest to visit another place

By far the best dinner we had in Mexico City. Great food, staff ambiance and a beautiful space; piano and violin were aa added extra.
