As very few these days, The Westin is a guarantee. Restful beds, great service, good food. Also, as expected, price a bit over average, but definitely worth it. If anything, the hotel seems a tad old, which shows in a few decorations, a/c equipment, but nothing that gets in the way of a great experience.

Great hotel. Right across from the convention center. Very comfortable and quiet location and accommodating and friendly staff. Big beds and spacious rooms. Good A/C systems. Great room service with timely food. The housekeeper was impeccable and left us extra bottled waters which was very thoughtful. Nice and spacious workout room. Good wifi Free!. Does streaming and sending pics fine. It’s Free but you can pay for upgrade.
Drawbacks- food prices at hotel are a little pricey for Mexico. (Ex. A burger and fries, bottled water was about $18-$20) Breakfast and coffee not very good. (very watered down coffee) you can get espresso at espresso bar downstairs) this hotel is at a location where you need to drive/taxi to go out as long as you are aware like we were. The downfall was we couldn’t walk to grab some food and avoid paying the higher prices at hotel. No pool jacuzzi-spa which was a bummer. This hotel is Pet friendly and there was a next door dog barking one day which was very awkward. The hotel was nice about it and said we could move. However in all fairness to their guests... they should have all guests with pets on one level to avoid this uncomfortableness.

Located in front of the EXPO GUADALAJARA, is a good place to stay.
Comfortable rooms, good security to access your floor.
Beautiful bathroom, nice amenities, the bed was awesome, just the pillows are not the best.

We are moving to Guadalajara and while waiting for our lease to go through and furniture to arrive stayed at the Westin again for all-in-all almost three weeks. From my last review, the service at the lobby bar has improved significantly. Room service is also faster and accurate. My wife loves the sushi at the lobby bar, I usually ordered from the restaurant menu (if we didn't order from UberEats or went out). The burger is great, the fettuccine as well. The pizza could use a little more love. We ordered pepperoni and mushroom and got exactly one slice of pepperoni and one tiny slice of mushroom per slice of pizza. The breakfast buffet looks good, we usually ordered from the menu which was good too. One thing that is a bit annoying is that you need to sign up for the Wifi every day, but it is free and I couldn't find a reason to pay for the faster upgrade. The business center doesn't exist. It's a desk in the lobby where you can print and scan, but the one advertised on the third floor seems to be meeting rooms only. So working is a bit of an issue unless you like sitting in your room. The lobby bar area is only suitable for short working sessions as the chairs are super uncomfortable or the sun shines right into the huge windows onto your screen. But, I guess after three weeks you are ready to move out and have a home cooked meal, so the few negatives that there are become an annoyance. The bottom line: this is a great hotel for Guadalajara and I would recommend it to anybody.

I occasionally stay at Westins and they aren't my favorite, but this one was a nice surprise. Nothing in particular is so special, but the whole layout is super functional and the beds are really comfortable. Good location and well run. The breakfast was the nicest breakfast I've ever seen in a hotel - really, really nice.
