Cuernavaca, already defined by Alexander von Humboldt as the town of eternal spring, is a historically very interesting town. Already the kings of the Aztec used to have here their villas.
The hotel consists of several buildings in a wonderful, very well-kept garden with plenty of chairs. In a part of the garden there is also the swimming pool which is very clean and pleasant. It is possible to relax, read in peace.

The kindness of the employees is remarkable: they don't let you touch your bag, they help in every way. In the night they park your car in a locked area.
The breakfast is a typical Mexican breakfast with many choices from the menu and so large that one does not need anything else for the rest of the day.
The only weak point are the bedrooms where the water in the bathroom never gets really hot and where there is no heater. Surely, in Cuernavaca the weather is particularly good during the whole year. In January during the night anyway, temperature falls below 10 C and a heater would be very pleasant. In our room there was only an air conditioner. Because of this, I cannot give 5 stars generally. Nevertheless, the garden and the service deserve 5 stars.
I would like to add that the place is completely safe: I had forgotten my (expensive!) sun glasses on a chair in the garden. Some hours (!) later they were still there and meanwhile it was dark

Excellent well run hotel. Out of town but only 15 min walk. Nice clean rooms onto lovely gardens. Pool and pool bar fantastic. Restaurant is really great. We ate there both nights as first meal was so good. Inclusive breakfasts amazing - great Mexican offerings and variety as well as amounts. No need for lunch. Staff delightful. Only negs rooms can be noisy and bathroom a little tired, but other things so much compensated I gave it a 5.

Room Tip: Ask for a ground floor quiet room

Stayed here for a little under a week in March. The staff was just wonderful, accommodating and friendly. While the room was large, the bed was hard and the room was on the street side and quite noisy in the evening with dogs barking and in the early morning with trucks going by. But on the other hand, the room was not expensive and the wifi was free. The breakfasts were excellent and generous. While we were there, however, the restaurant was open only on the weekend nights for dinner, so it was necessary to go elsewhere. The grounds are lovely, with a nice heated pool. I could see that families would enjoy that aspect of the hotel.

Room Tip: Do not get room 51. It is noisy in the evening and early morning. When you open the door to the room there are two concrete steps leading down nto the room - a real hazard as you don't expect steps to be there!

We stayed here for five nights on our arrival in Mexico this July. It was the perfect place! A short ride by local bus from the centre, it was a perfect spot to recover from the long flight from London - a comfortable room, a spacious quiet garden full of beautiful trees, and a swimming pool.

The staff were all friendly and helpful, even though our Spanish is woefully bad, and made every effort to make sure we felt welcomed and happy. They even offered to upgrade our room, but we were perfectly happy with the simplicity and cleanliness of our original (well-priced) room and the comfort of the bed.

Cuernavaca is full of things to do - the people are friendly - it was the perfect choice to start our month-long holiday in Mexico.

This is a lovely place. Great helpful staff and even though I don't speak Spanish and most of them don't speak English they are very helpful and you get all you need. Ample yummy breakfast. Lovely decor...Mexican tiled bathrooms and floors, and hand painted motifs around the bedroom doors. They don't have a spa but for $500 pesos (~£25) you can have an hour long massage in your bedroom which is great after a long flight. Only downside is that it's a little outside the centre so you have to get a cab to see the sights. Good value for money. Nice pool and gardens.
