We were originally going to Miami for 5 days just as the hurricane hit, so cancelled and ended up, purely by chance, at the Embarc for 10 days. What an amazing time we had.
Not only our first trip to Zihuatanejo but to Mexico, and we fell in love with the place.
Our original booking was confusing as we really didn't know what type of room we had booked, on arrival we had a one bedroom one bath which was gorgeous but no sea view (the sound of the ocean was like being teased as we couldn't see it), so we upgraded to a one bedroom 2 bathroom and wow.
The food in the restaurant and at the Surf Club is amazing, and Alberto Alfredo and the guys at the Surf Club are fabulous. A must is the romantic beach dinner, a lot of food yes, but awesome and great service.
We were also lucky to see the release of the baby turtles, the care the security staff take of them is amazing.
Safe to say we will be back.More
