My husband and I really enjoyed the bright and spacious condo. The walk down to the Malecon was a bit daunting the first time but we enjoyed it. We usually flagged a taxi to take us back up the hill at the end of the day but we did manage it once.
Tony and Alejandra were amazing! Very helpful!
We loved the pool. It was cold but it didn't stop us from jumping in! We would definitely stay here again. Thank you for making our first of many hot holidays together very memorable!

“This is nice affordable apartment”

Originally we booked this apartment but were offered a fantastic deal on another apartment that is on the 5th of 6 floors. We only paid for the upgrade because the other apartment had a beautiful balcony and it was such a great deal we couldn't pass it up. Tony is fantastic to deal with. The apartment that this review is for is nice. It is on the bottom floor. There are two bar fridges you can use. There is a little bit of wear but for the price you cannot beat it. On one of the reviews someone complained it was in the basement but being it is above ground it isn't really a basement. We have not got the bill yet for the electricity but if I don't come back to change this review it was fair. Tony takes a picture of the meter (which I did too) and it is compared when you leave to calculate how much you owe. It was around 30 c when we were here. We like it cold when we sleep but found that being on the mountain with the window and a fan it was comfortable. The neighborhood itself is very lively with many dogs and roosters making noise all night. If this bothers you remember some ear plugs. Personally I prefer this to drunken people by the beach. We walked the hill a couple of times coming back to the apartment but being on vacation opted to pay the $3 for a taxi ride up the hill.

“Beautiful View”

The condo looked just like the pictures on Tripadvisor. It is up the hill from the Malecon, at the top of the hill, we walked it a couple of times, but took a taxi most of the time. We did find a easier walk on the back side of the hill to catch the "Tunnel" bus going north to the strip or south to Old Town. Tony was great, having his sister pick us up from the airport and stopping to shop before we arrived at the condo,,, for a price. Having a washer & dryer was a huge bonus. Be carful not to use the microwave and the dryer at the same time, you'll blow the braker. No a big problem as long as you know where it is. (its in the parking lot, first one on the left lower side). This was our first time not staying at a resort, took a little bit of time getting us to not having people around. The pool was nice, a little cool, we were the only ones there and the sun doesn't shine on the pool are until 1:30. It was one of our least expensive Mexican holidays ever, we were there for 2 weeks.

Just got back from a three week stay at Torre Lirios. For the money, you would have a hard time finding a nicer place. The condo was a good size for two people, the view was great, and the bed was comfortable. The kitchenette was a little small but,we still managed to turn out some awesome seafood dishes! the only real issue was not having a full size freezer. The pool area was very nice, although the pool water was a bit colder than i like, it was quiet and i didn't have to fight for chairs. The walk to town was nice too,the climb back up was challenging but, after awhile a nice way to burn some extra calories.Tony was wonderful, arranging transportation from the airport, and even stopping for groceries to help get us set up.He was always available to help us out in anyway we needed. Thanks again Tony!
