I went to Nuevo Vallarta on vacation with 3 other friends and we asked in our resort where we could go dance and several people recommended Mandala Night Club. We arrived music was good the place looked nice and when we decided not to buy an overpriced bottle (cheapest one was $150) they took us to the back entry. Fine, we got sometimes clubs have two entrances one for VIP/ Bottle service and the other one for general public. We get there and it's 100 pesos per person perfect we pay that and then we were told we were going to get a table for the waitress to take our order. The club was packed we walked around the bottom and then got set up at the top at someone else's table. The waiter never came back, we were basically dumped. Ok whatever, this wasn't ruining our night we asked someone else where the bar was and he pointed downstairs, there is only one bar for the whole section we were in. Again trying to keep our cool we said fine we were making our way down when a waiter dumps a pitcher of water on my friend and then proceeds to "assist" her in drying her chest up, I told the waiter to back of in Spanish and he apologized claiming he didn't know we were paisanas which lead me to believe that if he knew he wouldn't have done that and it is ok to do it to American or other nationality females.
Dear Management, this is NEVER ok regardless what a female is wearing or her nationality. Secondly, just because more people fit inside the club it doesn't mean you have to let them in. The section we were in staff couldn't walk through without shoving people, they would yell at guests to move out of the way when there was nowhere to go, and in the case of an EMERGENCY they would not be able to assist and guest would probably trample each other.
