Amazing dinner in a gorgeous space. I had the vegan 6 course tasting menu and loved every bite. My husband had the bone marrow, and pork belly tacos and was thrilled! HIghly recommend.

Sometimes it’s hard to justify splurging on a meal when you are in a town where there are so many inexpensive & delicious options. However, it was certainly worth all the pesos we spent eating at Tintoque. The food presentation was spectacular and the ambience was on par with what we would expect in NYC. We started with the mango salad and tuna appetizer which were both wonderful. The baby corn starter was also very good but if you want to share with your fellow diners, make sure you order extra! For entrees we chose the pork belly tacos. The meat was tender with a light crispy edge. The pork loin was also tasty & paired nicely with a dual whipped potato sides. My only complain about the octopus tamale was that I did not expect the octopus to be breaded & fried. For dessert we chose the cheesecake mouse. It was an amazing combination of flavors. Definitely not like any cheesecake we’ve eaten. The strong cheese flavor was balanced by the passion fruit sauce and addition of raspberries. The almond sorbet was also delightful. For the less adventurous, go with the chocolate cake. So, bring lots of pesos and try everything on the menu!

Thank you very much for the great description of your visit, thank you for understanding what we want to convey in the diverse and wide culinary offer of the city.
We promise to work on improving the tamale textures so that everything is just as good for you.

Thank you for comparing us to a NYC restaurant for us it is an honor and a dream to live up to an American fine dining.

It is very motivating and pleasant to read to you, thank you for taking the time to write.

Best regards

This was not marked on Google Maps for some reason, which helped pique our curiosity. We arrived without a reservation, ordered a salad appetizer, followed by type of Tamale/crab dish and another excellent Tuna. Beer was inexpensive (wine is not). The dishes were a real pleasure to look at and to eat. Tintoque was great.

We avoided the area whenever a cruise ship docked, that might make a big difference.

This is as close as you will get to a Michelin star restaurant in Mexican resort areas like puerto vallarta.
The young chef continues to amaze with new and exciting food variations. It’s not inexpensive by Mexican standards but well worth every penny.
The kind of restaurant you say after one visit - when are we going back.

Situated in the Marina, Tinoque presents an extremely professional and classy environment. The food and the presentation are first rate but pricey. I take my college age daughter when she visits...
