The hotel was located close to the bars and shopping area.
The staff were friendly.
The junior suite room was clean and tidy, with a good sea view.

The downsides were: the balcony door lock was broken and lack of choice at breakfast.

In a hotel that appeared to be almost empty, I was given a room with a view of a brick wall above a noisy back up power system. There was a howling noise well into the wee hours of the morning. I asked for and received a different room and was assigned to one on top floor where a jack hammer operated for several hours on the roof during the day when I tried to catch up on the sleep I missed at night. Was this intentional? Staff was friendly, but this did not make up for the noise. Stay away.

Room tip: Choose a different hotel

Best thing about this hotel besides the location was the people working there. They were so friendly and nice. We had a glitch with our debit card and staff helped us sort it out.
Walls are little thin, request no neighboring wall of possible. Breakfast was good. Overall great experience.

Very clean, modern and if you are lucky great views of the malecon! Bedroom was perfect and front desk staff great as well. This place close to almost all of attractions in town (if looking for a more city experience) Parking and breakfast are included however is super basic not your expected Mexican experience but for that just walk down the street and you will find plenty of restaurants and vendors. Also a quick note: nights can be a bit busy outside so if you leave your windows open expect lots of noise. But otherwise I will come back

When I researched this hotel there was pictures of a pool but apparently there is another hotel with the same name a few blocks away! I thought they would at least let us go to the pool in the other seven crown hotel like they usually do with linked properties but they would not even allow that. The renovations are nice but for the price it is not worth it. Abysmal amenities and the free breakfast is just eggs and toast. The water in the shower does not drain, Wifi sucks and the restaurant is closed down. 3 sombreros out of 7
