Great room and view of breaking surf from a high cliff overlooking beach. Saw whales spouting just off the coast from the room. The rooms were basic but clean and good bathrooms. It is a great value and the staff are very friendly and trying hard to provide good service and expand. The restaurant food is reasonably priced and very good quality. Some large screen TV to watch sports in Bar area. Don't be put off by the 3KM drive on the dirt/gravel road west of Hwy 1. It is a bit remote but safe and quiet. There is not much nearby including the town. *****Note that the hotel is about 98 miles SOUTH of ENSENADA..

Room Tip: Most rooms face south to ocean

First when I got there I had to wait because the guy in charge wasnt there to see my reservation.
I liked the view, but way yoo lonely, in thr middle of nowhere. After that my issue was when I had to pay and they had no signal for my credit payment!!! That was a very bad inconvenience because all my cash was gone after making the payment!!! They really need to put in their website that they DON'T TAKE CREDIT/DEBIT PAYMENTS!!!
Will never go back!
Overall, had a good rest and staff was nice....

The drive down the dirt road is worth it. This is a clean, friendly, safe, and quiet hotel. If there are guests upstairs, don't book a room that is under the finished proportion of the second story (the back half). You can hear everything upstairs. The restaurant served good food and real margaritas (no Kirkland drink mix), although not all items are always available. The coffee maker and bottled water is a nice touch. The beds are firm but comfortable. The hotel is in the process of adding a second and possibly a third floor and a pool.

Room Tip: ocean side rooms are nice but avoid first floor rooms in the back half (under the finished portion of the second floor)

This place is a peaceful & quaint restaurant that's right the beach cliffs. It is a bit out of the way, and the 4 km dirt and rock road can be a little rough at some points but my Ford Mustang managed to make it there without any major issues.

Upon arrival it looks like there are some spaces for RVs although I'm unsure if hookups exist. The second floor and surrounding area appears to be "in progress" like so many other locations in Baja, but it's still rather beautiful and the first floor restaurant is certainly finished.

The fish tacos are the classic breaded variety and went down extremely well with the accompanying Dos Equis and their homemade salsa (the best of the four varieties I've had so far on this Baja trip).

Sitting outside in late December sipping beer in the sun is hard to beat.

The hotel was clean and felt safe. Some rooms have views, our had dirt view. The horrible thing that happened to us was that they gave our larger room to someone else. One of our guests had to sleep on the floor. They also said they couldn't refund the difference in price for the lesser room because they didn't have the authority to do so. Also, just an fyi, the restaurant (and coffee) doesn't open until 8:00am. We waited around until a little after 8:00 and the employees just started showing up. We left and got our coffee at OXXO.
