We stayed here for 6 nights as a rest after being to Vietnam. It is a very peaceful resort and we were lucky to have an ocean view room which was so close to the beach you could hear the waves crashing. The room was nicely furnished (didn’t like the bedside tables, but that was my personal view) and there was a lovely bath and shower. The toilet was separate which was good.
There were always plenty of sun loungers available especially under the trees which is where we chose to sit. The pool looked lovely but was always full of children so we chose the sea which was lovely and warm.
We opted for the club access which was a very good move. It was a welcome quiet place to go and relax during the day with a good selection of food and drink available. The staff were always very friendly and helpful. I would certainly recommend this option.
The resort is very quiet and we were warned not to use the monkey walk, so the first time we went into Ao Nang we took the boat then a Tuk tuk (100bht). This was easy to book, the only issue was booking the boat back, and having never been to the town before we made it too late, so we risked going back to the departure point, and as long as it isn’t full there was no problem going...We stayed here for 6 nights as a rest after being to Vietnam. Having read all about the monkey walk I still felt I needed to experience it, so the next time we wanted to go to town we did this. Wow, it is certainly steep in places and very Indiana Jones in places. We hadn’t seen any monkeys in the resort so hoped to see some while here, but no. It was a very hot and sweaty experience, not to be repeated.
The only real negative of the stay was I wanted to sit on the balcony in the evening to soak up the atmosphere but unfortunately I was bitten to death by mosquitoes.
This was a very relaxing few days and would certainly return if I wanted to come back to the area.More
