Clean, spacious modern rooms. Excellent service, staff and facilities. Location-can’t get better. Right in the middle of Ao Nang across the road from the beach. Surrounded by restaurants and shopping, easy walking distance to everything including island trips can be booked right outside.
We stayed in ground level connecting Pool access rooms -superb. Step outside the patio door and straight into the pool. Two pools to choose from as well as a grotto and spa. Pool and beach towels provided too.
We also stayed in top floor suites which were fabulous with views to the islands.
Clean tidy rooms with firm but comfortable beds, full supply of toiletries including shampoo, conditioner, body lotion, shaver and shaving cream, comb, toothbrush and toothpaste, soap, shower gel, vanity and sewing kit.
Fresh water supplied.
Great breakfast selection of fresh fruit, yoghurts, salads, cheeses and cold cuts (no bacon-but everything else to satisfy your morning hunger) selection of pastries, breads, spreads and juices. Eggs as you like them and pancakes made to order. Selection of hot dishes changes daily.
Lunches and dinners in the restaurant also fabulous. Service fantastic.
Michel and staff will always go the extra mile to ensure visitors are welcome and comfortable. Good security and car parking. Housekeeping and laundry staff are always friendly and helpful.

We booked L Resort mainly because of the pool access room & halal room service. We were "hotel-bound" for 4 days but the swimming pools & the restaurant kept us entertained & well-fed. Room 01 makes it easier to go to the other pool or restaurant from the patio door.

It was mostly 32 degrees in Krabi, the water & weather was nice enough for swimming all day. One pool near our room is 1.3m deep but there are stairs for our younger kids to just sit. The other is 1.4m with a shallow slope wide enough for kids to play.

Pools & room were clean & well-maintained. One more armchair or small sofa in the room would be perfect. Ironing facilities available in the room. Wifi okay during our stay.
Efficient housekeeping. Towels changed, complimentary bottled water & toiletries refilled daily. The resort was generous with towels, they even provided beach & pool towels separately.
The bathroom door and most of the bathroom walls were of almost see-through frosted glass. It was a bit uncomfortable if you're staying with a friend or older children.

Many good options of food. Room service was provided until 10pm (last order 9.30pm). Thai menu during breakfast was varied--different kinds of fried rice each day aside from other food and assorted fruits. International buffet was basically the same everyday but tasty nevertheless.

Staff especially the ones in the restaurant were very helpful & friendly. iPad was not really necessary in our case as most hotel staff could communicate in English.

The small private parking space was all the way behind the resort, it was confusing at first. Sometimes they also locked the gate so we needed to call the reception to ask someone to let our car in.

Location right in the hub of Aonang. There's a laundry service and a 24-hour convenience store just beside the hotel.

Excellent location which is situated in front of the beach separated by a road. Staffs are friendly and attentive. They listened to our requirement for quiet room. I have to say it was quiet though we were staying on 2nd level facing the small pool.

It was our wedding anniversary celebration so the hotel welcome us with a nice lovely decoration. We really appreciate that.

Breakfast was decent and nice but do not expect a wide spread which were absolutely ok for us. My hubby loved the eggs station.

The reason why I could not gave it a 5 stars was because ants are seen almost every day despite the daily cleaning. The water pressure is the bathroom was not strong enough which might make it difficult to adjust the water heater to the right temperature. Way too hot at times.

Overall its a nice hotel for its excellent location. Shops and restaurants are easily accessible.
