My experience at this hotel was simply excellent! The staff were helpful and friendly, the room was big, spacious and bright and the hotel was very new, having just opened 1 year ago! Room rates were also extremely reasonable with full facilities available at the resort and the rooms were also clean and tidy. The hotel is near Ao Nang beach where all the shopping and food were and it just took us 10mins for a leisure stroll there. Would definitely go back to this hotel again! Worth every cent and minute spent there!

Room Tip: I took the superior room and it was big enough with a private balcony.

We stayed this hotel for 3 nights and our reviews as follows:

1) Hotel Location:
Located on a street where there are few others hotels too (centara, nagapuri, apsari etc). It is a good 15 - 30 minutes walk to Ao Nang Beach. Near hotel area, there are a few mini markets, pharmacy, food outlets, massage so it is quite convenient. The hotel provide free shuttle service to Ao Nang Starbucks at certain times - so it is quite ok. Walking at night is also very safe.

2) Hotel Lobby:
Quite modern and nice. Check in was ok - not too fast not too slow. Offered cold pandan drink which is ok but fruit juice would have been better as welcome drink.

3) Hotel Interior, Gardens and Compound
Modern, New and Clean. The pool looks stunning tho.

4) Hotel Rooms:
We stayed at the Deluxe Pool Access Room - room is of good size with bathtub and modern toilet. Good water pressure. Bed is comfy. What is really nice about this deluxe room is the direct pool access. Truly enjoyable.

5) Hotel Breakfast
During weekends or if they are almost packed, full buffet breakfast will be provided. If it is during quiet season or weekdays, semi-buffet breakfast will be provided where guest get to order the main items for breakfast. The breakfast was good but what they could have done was to offer different selection of breakfast daily. It gets boring eating/selecting the same item for 3 days.

6) Hotel Dinner:
Our package include a thai dinner set. The appetizer and dessert was impressive and classy. However the main course tasted average. Overall not bad.

Overall:
Nice modern hotel. if you dont mind a little walking, this is a very good hotel to relax and stay.

Room Tip: The deluxe pool access room at Block 4 is the best.

My wife and I spent our Honeymoon at Mercure Krabi Deevana. The hotel is very very clean, the food is nice and the staff are very friendly and accommodating. They value their customers.

We love the swimming pool and also the bath tub.. :) Great and memorable experience. Two thumbs up Mercure! See you soon.. :)

Stayed for 4 nights at the beginning of August and upon arrival it was a gorgeous hotel! Loved the location, it's a bit away from all the hustle and bustle of Ao Nang.

First impression was it is a GORGEOUS hotel. Beautiful reception and check in process was smooth. Booked rooms through Hotels.com because the customer service via phone from Accor Hotels was horrible. Gentleman on 1-800 # barely spoke english. Got to our room, and upgraded to a pool access suite for a very small fee.

Room was gorgeous! Having access to the pool was amazing. Ordered room service as we took a boat over from Phuket and went island hopping for about 9 hours. Room service was fantastic, the food was delicious. Tried the Larb Gai, which was amazing (although it was different every single time we ordered it.) Consistency is a bit of a problem with this hotel. Every Smoothie was different and every drink by the bar came presented different.

The bar presents the first problem, the first day we really wanted to relax at the hotel since our journey to Ao Nang was rather long. Ok great, the manager told us the poor bar would open at 10 am. come 11:45 am someone came to finally open the bar and as soon as they did they left. We waited a bit longer and noticed that no one would actually work the bar. Worked out with Management and they assured us someone should staff the bar. Well over the next four days, no one really worked the bar. They would show up every hour or so, and if you ordered a drink they had to go all the way back to the main restaurant to fill your order. May be like this because it was low season and not to busy.

Pool access was lovely, keep in mind though this is definitely a family hotel. All the children congregate at the far end of the hotel and play in the large whirlpool even though at the other end of the hotel there is a play area for small children. Because of the design of the hotel, it can be rather loud with the echoes.

house keeping was fantastic, our room was always very clean and tidy. Had my laundry washed as we had been gone for 3 weeks and needed clean clothes. They did a fabulous job. The staff barely speaks english. I don't think one person there actually speaks fluent english besides the one European manager.

The spa was lovely and really enjoyed some of their packages that were super affordable and very nice. They actually did a cucumber mask they way it should be done.

Transport was easy, hotel will arrange airport transfers. Tuk Tuk service is standard 20 BHT per person.

Don't let my review discourage you, it really is a lovely hotel. They just need to work out some kinks with the staff and consistency. It's my understanding the hotel has only been open about 9-12 months. Hopefully with time it will get much better.

Room Tip: Pool access rooms nearest the restaurant will be quietest and have the calmest pool.

We booked in here for one night following a disaster of a night at the Nantra De Deluxe the night before. We booked a King Bed room with pool access with breakfast for two people. All for £80. And what a bargain. The room was superb! A large comfy bed and a very modern feel to the room and bathroom. Brilliant A/C which was quiet. But the best bit. Stepping out of your patio door (the patio doors are blacked out and no-one can see in) past your big round comfy outdoor lounging sofa and stepping into the pool then the bar opposite has happy hour cocktails from 4 till 6. Sorted!!!!
It is a little walk to the sea front but there are loads of motorbike taxis that charge you 40 baht to take you to the main front. Just head towards the main road and turn left. In the evening we eat at the Sula Bua Restaurant which I would highly recommend. A mixture of Italian and Thai, so the best of both worlds and you get to watch the sun go down. We did have lunch and snacks in the hotel and they were lovely. The breakfast is a must as there is loads to choose from and is a bargain at around £7 each for as much as you can eat.
As we were Accor members (this is worth getting and is free, book on their website as you can email hotel with specific requirements) they allowed us a late check out at 5 in the evening which was great as our flight was a little later. Not sure if they could do that in high season. The staff were so friendly and it was a real pleasure to stay there. So much so we are already planning to come back at Xmas for a week and stay in the same room as that pool access is like having your own pool..
Also, you can walk down to the long tail boat pier and get a boat to Railay Beach for 100baht. Overall this is fab hotel, in a good location with a real new modern feel and a for a fantastic price.

Room Tip: Pay the extra and go for the pool access rooms. Ask for the ones in front of the bar or in front of the restaurant.
