I just went to krabi for holiday weekends on 12-13 nov with my family. I was so impressive with first-looking of mercure krabi deevana. I got not only very nice welcomeness like staying at home but also their decoration,so skillful and it's perfectly combination between modern style and Thai stlye. Welcoming is so important to many people. I think it's like a first-impression like when you meet someone,you will impress them or not dependent on their looks in first-sight. I'm so sure that if you come here,you'll certainly not disappoint. If you have any chances,you should come here and you'll know that beautiful place is not out of reach! Don't miss it!!

Excellent pools ,efficient front counter.Room with Wi-Fi -Free! Facilities are all new and clean. Shops, eateries and the beach a 10 mins walk away.Even though some staffs not very conversant in english I will recomment this hotel cos staffs are very friendly and try all out to assist.

Room Tip: Choose Pools access rooms on the ground floor.

We stayed here for six nights in October. This was our third trip to Krabi, the second to Aonang, we were last there in 2003 and it certainly has changed. A lot more shops, restaurants and bars.
In respect of this particular hotel the first room they took us to the first room in one of the blocks and it was clearly evident that the ground floor rooms had not yet bee completed and there were workmen completing painting work and varnishing doors. This was true of every room on the ground floor which made things a little dangerous. Added to this there was a great deal of drilling work going on. These issues were raised with the lady who contacted her boss and after about an hour they showed us two further rooms, and we took the room on the ground floor in another block. The room was fine, the issue with this room though may be the design as they checked guests in upstairs and you could quite clearly here them walking up and down. Given that the hotel had very low occupancy I am not sure why they place all the guests in the same area. We did ask for a quiet room. It got so bad that we actually slept in another room.
As I mentioned here is a lot of work still being completed at this hotel and therefore noise from this is everywhere. There are no details of this on the website and had there been we would have chosen another hotel to stay at as there are now plenty of options in Krabi.
I used the Swan spa whilst I was there situated in the hotel and had a great package which was delivered very professionally.
The hotel drop the bill to your room the night before check out and it took us an hour to check out ,even though we were the only guests checking out!
They seem to have difficulty actioning issues this hotel which they certainly need to address.
If you are looking for great Thai food this can be found on the opposite side to the Goodwill hotel. The shop has been open for four years and had we found this establishment earlier we would have certainly eaten there every night!

We have moved to Mercure from Tup Kaek Beach and couldn't be more happy to be here. The rooms are brand new, the staff is very helpful and friendly, great WiFi connection, the location is awesome, and most important the bed is really comfortable. Close to town but far enough away that it is quiet. Walking distance to everything you need. Great restaurants, nightlife, and foot massages! We are happy to be here.

Room Tip: The poolside room is great.

Unstable wifi connection, unable to connect well to internet most of the time.
TV signal was problematic and had fussy screen all the time.
Quite noisy during the daytime due to ongoing renovations.
Hotel was located in a very secluded corner. Lack of transport to the main road. Could consider providing shuttle service for guest to Aonang beach.

Overall, staff was very helpful in assisting me with all the problems faced. But unfortunately, unable to resolve most of the problems.
