My mate and I did a rock climbing tour here (see other review) at the east end of the beach. The water is clear and deeper than other beaches around so it was a little cooler in the water which was great. There’s also a large amount of shaded water under the cliffs so you can escape the blistering sun. The down side... people. As I belayed my friend some 20m up the rock wall (rock climbing term for making sure a climber doesn’t die) a recently arrived tourist from the subcontinent continually pestered me to find out how much I had paid to go climbing. I ended up having to tell him to go away (read fcuk off) as he wouldn’t take no for an answer. Guess this could happen on any destination beach in Thailand, and if you stepped back and watched boat after boat arrive and disgorge its load of tourists you could easily be put off. For me, worth a visit for the views and the water, but you won’t have any space.

It is a nice beach with lovely sand. The sea is too murky for any snorkelling and it is very busy. You probably wouldn’t spend more than an hour here due to the crowds and constant boats. The cave is interesting but again very busy.

We had a fab day exploring the surrounding with the kids.
There were a range of places to eat and also some shady areas where to rest after lunch. The water was warm and clean.
That’s a piece of paradise! We loved it!

Interesting cave, which you haven't seen before. If you want to stay there longer, you can find there good climbing spot. Clean water, but beach is very crowdy and poor area for snorkeling.
