The price was good, and it was a pleasant place, but there was loud music across the street in the evenings. So unless you plan to be out late partying yourself, or unless you really really like the hits of the seventies, you should only stay if you can get a room at the back, not facing the street.

This hotel is on the main road in to Aonang. In late evenings, it's very noisy there, because of the music from det bars and resturants. No safe in the rooms, just in the reception. The beds are VERY HARD.
The breakfast is very poor, so if you stay there many nights, you wish it was better! For just one og two nights, ok.
Wifi was ok. No lift.
If I could wish me something, it must be new beds!!!!!! With softer madrasses!!!!

Room tip: If you like to use the balcony, you should choose a room with front vue. More mosqitoes in the back of the hotel.

The room is smelly and old fashioned and the noise is disturbing There is no safebox inside the room, you must leave yours belongings ,passaports, money at the reception, inside a drawer. The breakfast is poor, there is no much options. The staff is friendly, but is not a place to come back.

The front staff desk are friendly and speak excellent english. The rooms are nice, clean, and basic with a refrigerator, small desk, porch, and tv. However, the bed was the hardest I've ever slept on and the pillows were extremely stiff too. Maybe this is a ploy to drum up business for the many nearby massage parlors.

Internet worked well in the evening when we arrived, but was down in the morning and I needed to use the wifi of the downstairs restaurant (massaman) to write this review.

Noise is the other major problem here as the doors and windows are thin so you can hear all hallway and street noise pretty easily (and we were in the back away from the street).

Breakfast was pretty decent and consisted of eggs, ham, pancakes, toast, yogurt, cereal, and juice.

Overall this place is OK, but there is likely better in the area for a similar price.

Room tip: Ask for a room on the back to reduce noise.

The President sits on a main road in Ao Nang. It can get pretty noisy especially when the advertisement trucks pass by with their loudspeakers, and if your room faces the street. The breakfast is very modest, at best. Despite how it was advertised, the rooms do not have safe boxes. You can leave small valuables at the reception in a lock box, and they give you the key. The rooms are basic but spacious.
The location is great in that you're close to the beach, and so many restaurants and nightlife. The restaurant serves really tasty food at low prices. Staff is very friendly.
You get what you pay for her.
