I stayed here for 3 nights, before the rest of my tour group caught up with me - and we went to Borneo. It was a delightful place to be, with plenty to do, even when you are on your own ! The rooms were very comfortable ( and a very reasonable price ! ) There was also, a great pool and spa. I was surprised at first by the pool being indoors but when you realize the heat, humidity and tropical storms, it makes sense.
The staff were all very helpful and charming and made me feel very welcome. The hotel is in 2 parts - the older and new and you travel between to two in golf carts !
The food in both main restaurants was good - but don't make the error of ordering a bottle of wine - it was the most expensive I have encountered anywhere in the world !More
