The cottage was beautiful and had everything we needed for a week away from the rat race.
The owners left a welcome pack of milk, bread, eggs etc and a bottle of wine!
Findochty is a good base for visiting the North Sea coast of Moray. Fraserburgh, Macduff and its Marine Museum, Fort George and Elgin were just a few of the places we visited. We are already booked for next year to see more of this beautiful part of Scotland.
Very well kept and appointed holiday rental. Close to the sea and Findochty harbour.
We were there for the worst weather in 2016 so far, torrential rain. Despite this we got out and visited old haunts during the dry spells, and when impossible the cottage was comfortable to lounge around in.

We have stayed in a few holiday cottages before, however this one is the most perfect for us. Clare and Steve have made it so that you feel instantly relaxed as soon as you arrive, with it being so homely and comfortable. The welcome pack is excellent and very generous. We enjoyed walking our dog round the village with it's quaint harbour setting and small beach. Also the Moray coastal paths, exploring Cullen and the lovely beach. The Admirals Inn was great for getting in with the dog and we ate in the bar. Made for a perfect romantic 30th Anniversary holiday.
