Nestled in the middle of the national park, blue fig cottage offers an idyllic setting to escape the city and properly unwind for a few days. Fraser and Sara’s warm hospitality is felt throughout our stay. Small touches like fresh eggs, milk, local coffee and a warm fire to arrive to, are a wonderful addition. We highly recommend the campfire pot dinner too - a delicious stew with some of the best stargazing we’ve done in years.

Thanks for having us Fraser and Sara!!

“Beautiful Accommodation. Beautiful location .”
Reviewed 13 December 2019 for a stay in December 2019

Absolutely stunning . It is truly an oasis. The accommodation is beautiful with views of a forest and the symphony of birdsong is an aural delight that makes sitting on the verandah an absolute pleasure. We loved this place and we are definitely returning !

“Can't wait to come back!”
Reviewed 26 September 2019 for a stay in September 2019

The beautiful cottage and surroundings in the Nightcap Ridge National Park made for the perfect 3 night babymoon :) We loved sitting on the verandah for our morning coffee, relaxing in the clawfoot bath or reading our books by the campfire in the afternoon. It was a great place to unwind. Fraser provided local coffee and fresh eggs from their chickens which were both delicious and a lovely touch. We opted for the chicken curry over the fire one night and it was superb. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook with, the bed super comfy and the cottage was spotless. We can't wait to bring our family back next year. Would highly recommend.

“Perfect hinterland getaway”
Reviewed 23 July 2019 for a stay in July 2019

We stayed for two nights and it was not long enough! The cottage is immaculate with great attention to detail. Evenings were spent around the fire pit enjoying the incredible star show or playing board games around the cosy lounge room fire place. Night Cap Ridge is a stunning location and would highly recommend to anyone looking for the perfect hinterland getaway.
