The resort lies in the middle of coffee plantations beside the Harangi backwaters. Since the dam gates were not opened, the backwaters were right until the compound of the resort even in December. We stayed for 2N 3D in the Honeymoon Cottage and it was ideal for a nice relaxed vacay. There is a swimming pool and a spa service available within the resort, but apart from that there is not much to do within the resort. You can combine a small day trip to Madikeri/Kushalnagar and the surroundings while staying here to make it more engaging.
Food : Surprisingly, the food was also very tasty and with a lot of varieties. There was a complimentary breakfast and dinner within our package while we ordered for lunch separately. There were a lot of veg varieties and a nice hi-tea with some snacks in the evening.
There is also a musical concert and a camp fire every evening from 8pm - 10pm during the dinner time. The singer chooses a nice set of old and new Hindi/Kannada songs and also accepts requests from the audience. There is a separate bar with a dance floor for those who wish to have drink and dance.
The owner/manager took us to the coffee plantations around and briefed us about growing coffee and pepper.
Pros : Good for a 2-3 Days stay amidst the greenery away from the city lights. Food is very good. Swimming...The resort lies in the middle of coffee plantations beside the Harangi backwaters.
