This is a second time visit of this hotel because we have customers near it.

After long hours of work this is good place for sauna & swimming in relaxing.

But room is a little bit below of average for sleep. Inside hotel there is nice restaurant though.

Stayed: March 2018, travelled on business

First hand impression was indeed positive when greeted by the smiling and charismatic personell. Even though we had chosen a room of the "economy" type it exceeded our expectations. The room was well kept, clean and had much space. The location is great in case you are looking for a relaxing and peaceful stay - close to the beach and walking distance to the heart of Sæby.
It is imperative for me to comment on the culinary experience which probably was one of the best things during the stay. Both days we had the 3-course meal and the bar was set very high! The composition of fresh ingredients was incredible whilst managing to capture and include the local essence of Sæby. Last but not least the service during dinner was extraordinary - very articulate, professional and a great ability to keep vicinity at its highest level.
With my utter sincerity I recommend a stay at Hotel Viking combined with the 3-course dinner if you are looking for a relaxing and pleasant stay a long with a local culinary experience at its best.

Room Tip: 3-course dinner

The rooms were very comfortable and the sea view was really lovely. The heated outdoor pool and spa were just the thing we needed. It was windy and freezing cold, but then we slipped into the warm pool and just felt amazing.
The late dusk, cloudy evening view over the sea, and the glow from in the pool made it just so magical and peaceful.
We then got into the nice, hot outdoor spa for some serious relaxing.
When the outdoor area closed, we simply went inside to the indoor spa.
The restaurant looked really great, but we were so relaxed that we simply fell asleep and didn't make it to dinner.
We realised that there was a bar and a whole treatment room area on leaving. We only stayed for one night, but it was really great.

Room Tip: Choose the sea view room. We were on the 2nd floor and it was really lovely.

The hotel is avarage, and even though we ordered a "business room", it was pretty standard - no Tea of coffee... just a balcony and an extra chir made it "business". The TV and Settop box was small and old.

On Sunday afternoon I meet our colleague at Aalborg for visting customer at Saeby.

Normally I do not work but in this time we visit customer on Sunday. After finishing of it my Danish friend book me at Viking hotel of Saeby.

It is nice to do Sauna and swimming after work on extra work of Sunday. They open Sauna and swimming until 6:00 only.

After relaxing I also use restaurants at hotel and food is good also. Room has a little old furniture but big enough for one day stay.

Breakfast is also good with basic things such as good breads, juices and other things for breakfast. I recommend this hotel on Saeby after hard work.
