The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is a stop on the local market which we expected to be a highlight of the trip. Instead it was very poor, and the only reason for us to buy something was a sort of donation to promote local culture. The rest of the trip including swimming by the caves was totally amazing

Request the adventure caving! It’s insane! Honestly one of the best things we have ever done, you will not be disappointed.

Of all the show case caves, this is my favourite. It's a nice walk (on a loop) inside and without much foul guano smell.

Visited both having taken boat from the National Park jetty. It's 200 steps up to Clearwater and a good 1000 steps around the cave interior. Wind does have a cooling wind living up to its name. Went for a swim in the river below Clearwater entrance, current by the steps is a little strong so be prepared.

Cave is less impressive than others in the park. It was quite crowded and just walking on wooden platforms with lighting systems felt like if we were in a Singapore zoo...
