We wanted the individuality, welcome and cosiness of a B & B rather
than a hotel, and Ednovean Farm delivered fully. Charles and Christine make every
effort to provide a comfortable stay. The location is peaceful and scenic, the rooms
are very comfortable and tastefullly furnished in country style, and there are extensive beautiful gardens with views to the sea. Breakfast (excellent) is taken
upstairs in an open kitchen/dining area, at a table shared with other guests, a
very agreeable social occasion.
There is an excellent award-winning dining pub in Perranuthnoe, which can
be accessed by footpath, and several other good pubs nearby. The village
also has two pleasant cafes.
The house is ideally placed for walking on the coastal footpath, which is scenic as
always and less challenging in this area than some others!
We would definitely return.

Wanted a quiet and relaxing break in a lovely location and that's exactly what we had at the Ednovean. From the moment we drove down a narrow country lane and found the hotel we knew we made the right decision. The hotel well B & B had immaculate gardens and nice cosy country feel with lovely views of open countryside and the sea in the background. All the stresses of city life quickly evaporated and the couple who run the place Charles and Christine were very welcoming and very pleasant. Our room was very spacious and with old world country charm. Each morning breakfast was cooked individually for us and was eaten in a small cosy dining section by the kitchen with the other guests, really did feel as though we were staying at a friend's house such was the ease and hospitality of the hosts. Another big advantage was the fact there is a very good pub/restaurant within a 10 minute walk and you can also walk to the sea in less than 15 minutes through the quiet village. All in all a very nice place to stay and hopefully be back again.

This looked great online and as we'd not had a proper holiday for around 3 years we were delighted and relieved to discover that the reality more than matched up. The weather helped by being absolutely exceptional but as you can see from other reviews this is a place where you can really relax and enjoy yourself in comfort whatever the weather. We loved the gardens and went walking and sitting there before and after each day's outing. Eating lovely breakfasts upstairs in the wonderful open living room/diner/kitchen around a single table with the other guests was a unique experience. Despite being a rather reserved person, I quickly came to look forward to the friendly, inclusive & informative chat each morning. Two of the couples we overlapped with had been coming for 20 years or more. And long before our 6 days were up we were sure we would be back one day ourselves.

We escaped to Ednovean Farm for a weekend of rest and recuperation and what an excellent choice it turned out to be. We had a beautiful room, like living a Victorian Fairytale and our hosts couldn’t have been more welcoming. The surrounding scenery is beyond incredible and we thoroughly enjoyed the coastal path walks during the day, and walking over the fields to the Victoria Inn for sustenance in the evening. Our delicious breakfast kept us going throughout the day and the tea, coffee, biscuits and water were regularly topped up in our room and greatly appreciated. I can’t recommend this place too highly, if you need a totally relaxing break, this is the place.
