Spent a long weekend after being asked to stay at this resort with some friends. I had stayed there many years ago but it has been updated and is very nice. We stayed in Unit 213 and it is on the first main floor therefore each balcony has a walkway that connects to the boardwalk that goes to the beach, This was of great benefit as it made access so quick and easy! The beach in this area was in great shape and Robert and the rest of the beach crew did a great job always having our chairs and umbrellas at the ready when we needed them. This resort didn't have a long list of do's and don'ts like some others which I found refreshing. I would definitely stay here again and hope to soon!

We just spent a week in Destin @ Mainsale Condos. This is the ideal location for a condo vacation stay. Steps off the beach and across the street from from the discount mall. Mainsale has 2 towers of condos. The east tower (Number 1xx) is in the sun all day. The west tower (number 2xx) is in the shade. Its a smaller condo as Destin goes, but its much easier to access the beach, pool area or highway. We booked through Wyndom Resorts, who did a great job.

2 Bedroom condo was clean and the furnishings about what we expected. You can pay alot or a little for condos in Destin, but you'll find Mainsale to be a great value.

Room Tip: All the condos have a view of the ocean and nice patios. Tower 1 is in the sun all day. Tower 2 is in the shade.

Even during the heat of spring break this spot is relatively quiet. 2 pools, on the beach, lots of great condos. Gated community where most owners require renters to be over 25 years old. We love sitting on our balcony and enjoying the view of the beach and pool.

We stayed in building 2. The views of the beach and resort were great. Our unit is comfortable. Getting onto the main road is a bit tight. I imagine in peak season out would be difficult to turn left. The resort is tucked away with a guarded entry gate 24 hours a day. There is an old school push to talk box to call for entry after hours. The grounds are clean and well maintained.

Let me start by saying that this Resort itself is beautiful. Right on the crystal clear water and white sandy beach! The unit 218 was barely habitable! It needs serious updating. The location, with private access to the beach is the best thing about it. The rugs are disgustingly dirty and I didn't dare walk barefoot. The two big burners on the stove don't work. The toaster oven handle is broken so not usable. The kitchen cabinets are falling apart. There is black grout in both bathtubs, which hardly drain during a shower. The wall paper is peeling. The furniture is so gross and worn, we had to cover it with sheets before sitting on it. The screen door barely locks.
As far as the resort is concerned, the hot tub jets don't work and the pool is freezing. Not sure if this is a temporary thing or not.
I would stay at this resort again, but just not in Unit 218

Room Tip: avoid unit 218 Maybe others are better
