The accommodation was idillic. Very modern with all your amnenitites and then some. Well insulated very warm and satalite TV.
The games room with pool, table tennis, darts, Wii and plethora of toys offers the kids plenty of distraction should the weather be poor. Outdoor tennis court was god fun in the afternoons.
The near by lake has several families of ducks that my two daughters eagerly feed each day. Very peaceful walks.
20mb WiFi access keeps the kids happy and us in touch. Smart TV in livingroom a great touch.
Caroline was very pleasnt and helpful. Pity we never got to meet but their will be a next time.
Highly recommended if you like peaceful seclusion but still loads to do.

I've had the pleasure of staying here twice, once as a quiet getaway with my wife and the second time as a family with our 3 young children (6, 4 and 2 year old boys). It was perfect on both occasions. The hosts go out of their way to as welcoming as possible. There was fresh baked bread on arrival and the woodburner was set in preparation along with an abundant supply of wood. The quality of the accommodation is very good. The 3d tv was loved by our boys and they made full use of the grounds: playing in the treehouse and honing their tennis skills on the grass court. Our youngest loved feeding the rabbits. I can't recommend this place highly enough. You will not be disappointed.

We stayed here for 5 nights in February and would highly recommend.
Caroline was very friendly and welcoming and we wanted for nothing. The accomodation was very clean and very well equipped. The location was just perfect for us visiting family that lived close by.
Caroline knew we were over for a family wedding and on the day of the wedding she put up bunting which was a lovely touch.
The smart tv was a hit with my son who enjoyed watching 3d movies on it. The games room was very well equipped and a bonus.
I will definitely return and would highly recommend to anyone that's considering booking here.

From the moment we booked the owners made us feel welcome. Lakeview is well equipped, comfortable and offers almost everything you need for a relaxing holiday in this unspoilt, and as yet undiscovered, part of the UK.
The property is a model of eco-friendly design and equipment, which we would not hesitate to recommend.
