“I'm definitely going back.”

I recently stayed at the chapel with a group of friends and it couldn't have been better!
With the fire roaring, cosy and inviting perfectly describes how the chapel feels after coming in off the beach after a long walk.

It has everything that you need to make your stay even better, right down to the really nice touches like the barrel bar and a selection of DVD's for kids should the need arise.

Parking is ample and with so much to do outside such as coasteering in St. David's or long walks along the beach, exploring rock pool etc the chapel is the perfect place to come back to after being outside all day. And on the days when you don't want to venture out, board-games in front of the fire make the perfect excuse.

Being there for a just a couple of days was exactly what was needed. A beautiful place in a beautiful setting with tons of stuff to do. Exactly what holidays should be all about.

“Don[--]t expect 5 * anything except the view and you won[--]t be disappointed,”

You could not fault the Bathroom or downstairs Shower room(except the faulty light, take a torch as the one provided has no batteries)..The Central heating and hot water worked well. That said the rest of the house need some money spent on it, the house was obviously renovated over 14 years ago and is in one word TIRED. The bedding was of poor quality ,no spare bedding was left for a two week rental so beds could not be changed, Not enough towels were available we had to share bath towels) nothing was 5* no matching bedding and curtains and window blinds were in need of replacing in the main bedroom the blinds were torn. The bunk beds need attention as they are not comfortable and the mattresses is not the quality that makes them comfortable for any one teenage or over. With two sets of bunk beds in a small room there is no where to put clothes away. The love seats In the two windows that provided the only views turned out to be window seats with faded and tired cushions only comfortable for one person at a time( great place for solo contemplation. The downstairs window seat got wet in heavy rain with water coming in between the window and wall. The lounge has good LOW BACK seating and a very efficient gas burner, the curtains are an obvious new edition, the wall lighting had bulbs that needed replacing (there were no spare bulbs) as this room is the main body of the chapel and affords no views at all good lighting especially on dark days is important. Replacement of the small lamp under the stairs that has a burnt and dingy shade would be a great Idea. The kitchen is dark not helped by the dark oak kitchen units and poor lighting and dark patches on the walls. The dishwasher works but steam escapes during the wash cycle. We only had two tea spoons(the owner has told us since that they were in their other property next door she's not sure why) we have left cheep replacement ones that we brought. I am sad to have to leave this report as the owner appears to be a very nice lady. The last 5* certificate on show in the lounge was for 2002 perhaps this should be removed it is in now way relevant. Im sure you will enjoy your stay so long as you don't expect 5*It is close to beaches and walks, the bus stops out side and with parking directly outside the Chapel it makes this a very accessible property.

“Perfect base for a holiday on the Pembrokeshire Coast”
Reviewed 22 October 2012 for a stay in October 2012

I stayed here (with husband and family) for a week recently. The place was ideal for us...spacious, comfortable and tastefully decorated. The views from the Chapel down over the Cwm Mawr valley to the sea were breathtaking. It really was a perfect base for us to explore the area....although I can imagine that the Chapel would be equally good as a cosy, relaxing retreat even in the dead of winter! The thick walls and toasty new heater keep the place nice and warm.
We enjoyed it so much that we have already booked up for next year! This could become a bit of a habit!
