Great find right on the beach! When we arrived our room was clean and stocked. The room came with a decent sized refrigerator, one burner to cook meals, microwave, toaster and small coffee pot. There are two BBQs on site as well.
The room was larger than expected and very comfortable with a nice firm bed, a/c and plenty of towels etc. The restaurant onsite is good and offers fish tacos, burgers, conch fritters and such. Music plays from 12-7 so be aware if you’re staying on site. Good news is you don’t need to bring a speaker! Bad news is no mid day naps.
The facility offers a few kayaks which were great to go to the pig beach. Took about 30 mins to paddle out there. Don’t pay for an excursion if you stay here! The two SUP have no fins so would be difficult to navigate on the water. If you feel so inclined maybe get some off amazon and bring to them! They would appreciate it I’m sure!
As for the island- it is SLOW! Not much open before 12:00. Most things close between 3-6. And again close before 9.
If you’re a coffee drinker- the only “real” ground coffee is at exuma market in George Town. The little convenience stores only have instant. After much debate, and $350 on groceries I think it’s cheaper to eat out. Maybe just buy some coffee and breakfast and don’t bother with groceries for the rest.
