Visited the restaurant with family. Loved the fact that there were many locals. The drinks and food were good. We ordered snapper and fried chicken. The Mac and cheese, slaw and peas and rice were homemade and very delicious. My family and I were able to use the kayak and paddle board for many hours. Enjoyed the fact that the locals were very friendly and did not treat us like typical tourist.

We finally got to experience a true Bahamian Fish Fry experience and not break the bank. Weather wasn't great and the customer service is sort of lacking but the experience was great.

My wife and I both had the Whole Fried Snapper and we shared an order of Conch Fritters and it all only cost us $32.00. You're lucky to pay only that for one seafood dinner in Port Lacaya. This is a must try for anyone visiting Freeport

Asked for grouper but got something else masquerading as grouper probably tilapia. The long line for the food was not worth it. Other than that, the atmosphere was nice, good vibes.

Knowing about the long lines, our group arrived before 545p but Outriggers did not really open until past 615p. When serving finally started, we got the fish dinner (fried snapper, coleslaw and rice) for $15 (menu ambiguously said "$12 and up"). Service was production line, all business without typical Bahamian friendliness. Fish was good but portions were on small side. We are glad to have done the fish fry experience but we learned that some in our group skipped Outrigger's long line. They were happy eating at Penny's which was close-by, cheaper and similar menu without the waiting. The advantage for Outriggers is that it is right on the beach with music and dancing.

The food was tasteless or worse. The chicken was dry and tasteless and the ribs were so over sauced that you couldn't taste or find the meat. The rice was dry and I'm not sure what was in the Mac and cheese . The Bonfire was great and the dancing was great fun the night we went to the fish fry and the drinks reasonably priced but skip the food. Don't come hungry. But stay for the drinks and dancing.
