Mediocre hotel for extremely expensive price point. Restaurants were especially expensive. No acknowledgment as world of Hyatt member. Room lacked hand soap during entire 3-night stay, lacked wash cloths on second day of stay. Balcony furniture included from a prior guest a piece of girl’s bathing suit at time of check-in, was still there at checkout; clearly no one ever quality checked the balcony.

Omar was cool. We came to the hotel and he was very nice. He gave us drinks to make sure that we were hydrated. Approached us and asked us if we needed anything else outside of work. We already had. The experience was great and I really enjoyed it. Thanks again.

We have loved our stay, and would 100% recommend coming here either as a couple or with the family. The facilities are incredible, and we were treated so very well by everyone we encountered. We would like to especially acknowledge our favorite person on the staff, Ebony G, who handled everything for us during check in. She was so incredibly kind and funny, and welcomed us like we had been there 100 times! I really appreciated Ebonys attention to detail, and the joy she brought to our first day at the property! We had a slightly delayed check in, and she worked to make sure everything was handled smoothly and I have to say i felt like our great trip really kicked off perfectly due to her bubbly personality and dedication to making sure we had the best possible experience!

Overall we wouldn't change a thing, and we will be bringing our kids back the next time!

Alexis at Bahamar was a beautiful person to deal with. She was kind, helpful, compassionate and overall amazing. She made our stay so wonderful and was there to assist and answer any questions or concerns. Higly recommended as a resort. But Alexis made all the difference

The resort is very nice, plenty of activities. But bring your savings account, almost everything is extra. We upgraded to vip room, free breakfast, vio privileges, but it’s a smoke screen, you will pay for everything, vio pool, you want a chair, pay $250, if you don’t, sit on the ground, breakfast, not breakfast, it’s pastries and fruit.

Everything is super expensive, look I stay at 4-5 stars all the time and I am a Hyatt platinum member, but you get nothing here. Everywhere you turn, it’s a charge to vip.

Hyatt has it all wrong!

Food is fabulous and rooms are great, but it’s all over shadowed by this all, I won’t be returning and this is my second try.

Bad move Hyatt!

We understand your frustration with the additional charges for pool and beach seating, and we want to clarify that while most of the seating is complimentary, we offer premium seating options for those who prefer a more exclusive experience. We also recognize that no trip to the Bahamas is inexpensive, and our goal is always to ensure that our guests feel like they’ve had a vacation of a lifetime. Rip off! This is unbelievable. I’m surprised they don’t charge you to put a pillow on your bed. We are Hyatt members and always choose Hyatt properties. We came here a few years ago when they opened and knew that things were a tad over priced. We were excited to come back and see all the new things that were added. But we will never be back! It’s beautiful but you can get far better service, far better food quality and portions for your money. We are use to higher end travel and higher end prices but this nickel and dime we won’t do it again. For example you can go to any pool but if you want a seat you must pay for a SEAT on a lounge chair. What??? Beach you want a seat …. You must pay. But not only that you have to reserve your seat ahead of time. What kind of vacation is it when you have to pay for a seat and then several pools to choose from but you have to pay for a seat and not pool hop because you paid for a seat at said pool.
A shrimp salad, side of sweet potato fries and one Tito’s soda with lemon came to $91! No thank you! The chair thing was never disclosed upon booking and never mentioned at our “ vip” checkin.
Stated full breakfast in our vip area. Fruit and muffins is not a full breakfast.

Do better Hyatt.
The best thing about this resort is Nathan who works at the fish and chop house. Best server ever.
