Bahamar is a brand new, beautiful hotel, casino, and pool/beach resort. The service was friendly, helpful and attentive. The room was elegant and well stocked with everything one needs. We had a glitch with the TV but it was replaced. There is an impressive water/light show three times a night at 8, 9 and 10pm.
The breakfast choices were excellent and there was something for every palate including healthy smoothies, cheese and Italian meats, made to order omelette's, local dishes like souse and boil fish with johnny cake. It would be hard to not find something to your liking at the 3 Tides restaurant.
The Gym has the latest equipment and is spacious and light filled.
The Spa is one of a kind and a "must see" and experience. The chill zones and quiet balconies with lounge chairs are a great place to read in silence.
There are multiple pool areas and they are all beautiful. Some are smaller with private cabanas and others are large enough to swim laps or sit by the in pool bar. The beers and mixed drinks by the pool were reasonably priced. The meal presentation, whether in the hotel or by the pool is elegant down to the slightest detail
There is a cool "blue hole" in one of the pools for kids and adults alike to jump in from two levels. There is also a fun cave area to go in where you can see sharks and rays swimming by through thick glass.
The beach is typical of the Bahamas but we preferred to stay by the pools under the shaded pool side cabanas with rain curtains.
At nighttime there is a small but inviting bar area called the Blue Note with live jazz and singing. The view from the room overlooked a beautiful Bay area with the City Lights beyond.
Overall it was a great stay in a classy hotel with high end amenities and folks eager to please.
